The Directorate of Research is headed by the Director of Research who is assisted by Additional Director of Research (Agriculture) and Additional Director of Research (Agricultural Engineering); Associate Director of Research, Director Seeds apart from Directors /Incharges of the Research Stations/Seed Farms.
Keeping in view the existing and emerging problems in agriculture so as to find out their viable solutions, PAU carries out research in agriculture and allied disciplines including basic sciences and humanities, farm engineering and home science.
