Connecting Science and Soil for Sustainability

The Directorate of Extension Education plays a crucial role in connecting the PAU research system with farmers. Its services are tailored to address the specific needs of farmers, ensuring that the latest technologies and innovations are accessible in every field across the state. The Directorate operates through its statewide network of 15 Farm Advisory Service Centres (FASCs), 18 Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), Agricultural Technology Information Centre (ATIC), Skill Development Centre (SDC), and Communication Centre (CC). These initiatives serve as a gateway for farmers to enhance their efficiency, adopt sustainable practices, and achieve greater profitability.
